LOUISVILLE, Ky. — More than a week after a fire destroyed an apartment building in Old Louisville, families are still searching for a new home.
“My life wasn’t perfect, but I was maintaining and living. Now, I have nothing,” said Katrell Sanders.
Sanders says her life hasn’t been the same since everything she owned caught on fire at an apartment building on Brook Street on Sept. 16. The mother of five says since that tragic day, she’s been bouncing from one hotel to the next, trying to provide shelter for her family…
