LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A popular bar in the Highlands that’s been at the center of controversy for its proximity to violent crime is faced with an uncertain future after a decision was made by Metro officials to not renew its liquor license.
Baxter’s 942 must have its liquor license to operate, therefore this latest order by the Metro is essentially a shut-down order. The business’ metro licenses were set to expire on November 1.
