( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — Monday marks five years since a beloved NoDa sandwich shop owner was robbed and tragically killed. Five years later, the family is still searching for closure.

Brooks’ Sandwich House is at the edge of Charlotte’s NoDa neighborhood. It’s known for more than just its burgers. Scott and his twin brother David opened the restaurant in NoDa more than 50 years ago. But five years ago, Scott was shot and killed while opening the shop in 2019…
