Cabarrus County commissioner alleges ‘critical’ new school construction is being stalled

CONCORD, N.C. (WBTV) – Cabarrus County Commissioner Kenny Wortman called out the other members on the Board of Commissioners Monday night for allegedly dragging their feet on critical funding.

Cabarrus County will be out of seats for elementary school students in five years if new schools are not built, according to Wortman.
