Single-car crash briefly cuts power to 3,000 in Concord

CONCORD, N.C. — A single-car crash temporarily knocked out power for thousands of Concord residents on Sunday, according to a city spokesperson.

The crash happened at the intersection of Deal Street and Old Salisbury-Concord Road when a car hit a utility pole.
