Oldtimers may remember weekly broadcasts on WJMA radio in Orange featuring the likes of football coaches Eddie Dean, Martin Mooney, and Paul Sizemore, who talked sports for their respective Madison County, William Monroe, and Orange County high schools.
Upon the suggestion of Ronnie and Brandon Utz, the voice of Madison County football, Jerry Carpenter brought back an incarnation of the memorable pastime Monday night when he hosted a podcast at MadPeppers Restaurant in downtown Madison.
