CHATTANOOGA—The Chattanooga Mocs completed another strong academic term to close 2024. It is eye-popping with back-to-back semesters of every program recording 3.0 or better as a team. It makes the first calendar year with each squad topping the 3.0 mark for the period.
“Our student-athletes continue to amaze me,” Vice Chancellor for Athletics Mark Wharton stated. “It is no surprise because of the standard that’s been set over the years. But still, the commitment I see from them in the classroom, in competition and in our community is special.”
The Mocs completed the fall term with a 3.38 GPA. That’s the second best on record behind spring 2020 (3.42) which was the COVID-effected term. It also means the department has 3.3 or better in consecutive terms after a 3.31 in the spring…
