CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Two Golden Eagles placed in the top-five at their respective weights at the Southern Scuffle on Sunday, with Kyle Schickel placing fifth at 149 pounds and John Worthing taking fourth at 174 pounds.
Clarion finished 16th in the team standings, with a total of 38.5 team points.
Coming off a stretch where he led the team in point scoring during the month of December, Schickel wrapped up a successful weekend at McKenzie Arena with two more wins on Sunday, including a 16-5 major decision in the fifth-place bout against Davidson’s Tyler McKnight.
