On Sunday, October 12, 2024, at 2:02 p.m., Haletown Fire and Rescue responded to Eastbound I-24 at Mile marker 163 for a vehicle rupturing its fuel tank.
Upon arrival, firemen found a vehicle entangled in the cable guardrail and ruptured its gas tank. Seeing no one was injured, oil drying and fuel cleaning began immediately. The car traveling behind had debris pinned under it. Crews freed the debris, and the vehicle remained drivable. No injuries were reported…
