Eagles Eyeing Hunter Renfrow as Obvious Roster Addition

The Philadelphia Eagles need some reinforcements in the team. Since their most prominent receivers are out, the idea would be to somehow add more depth to this team so that at least they stay in a competitive situation. The Eagles currently stand at 2-1 and are struggling with multiple injuries, notably the loss of two main receiver players, A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. Many see an opportunity to sign an abandoned former Pro Bowler from the Las Vegas Raiders in the person of Hunter Renfrow.

Injury Pains Catching Up with Performance

The Eagles came out of the gates strong in the early goings, but injuries have caught up with them. A.J. Brown has a hamstring issue, and DeVonta Smith has a concussion. Compounding things, Britain Covey has been put on IR with a broken scapula. Those injuries have thinned out their depth and hurt their ability to execute properly on the field. The Eagles are struggling with big plays and holding onto scoring drives without their top guys.
