RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – The Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority has reached a new milestone in its Creighton Court revitalization project in east Richmond.
The organization announced Thursday the financial closing for Phase B of the project, which will include 72 affordable housing units. They hope to start construction by the fall of 2025.
“That symbolizes hope. Again, in the city where there’s an affordable housing crisis. But we’re not going to stop there, as you know,” said Steven Nesmith, the CEO of RRHA.
