CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Three people are displaced after a house fire in Chesterfield County on Thursday afternoon.
Just after 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 26, Chesterfield Fire and EMS crews responded to a call for a house fire in the 1300 block of Oldbury Road.
According to officials, the first firefighters that arrived on scene found smoke and fire coming from a corner of the home and the chimney.
Firefighters were able to mark the fire under control in less than 30 minutes, however, officials said the fire left the home uninhabitable and an adult and two children were displaced…
