CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WWBT)—At J.B. Watkins Elementary School in Chesterfield, students gathered in the gym to learn from Emmy award-winning actor Henry Winkler what it takes to tell a story.
Winkler, best known for his role as “Fonzie” in Happy Days, spoke to students on Thursday afternoon about his new book, Detective Duck #2: The Case of the Missing Tadpole.
Alongside children’s book writer Lin Oliver and author-illustrator Dan Santat, Winkler inspired the next generation to follow their dreams.
“Every one of you is smart. Every one of you has a great imagination, and it‘s up to you, nobody else, it‘s up to you to use it for goodness in this world,” he told students during Thursday’s presentation…
