Two people stabbed on VCU campus in Richmond after fight at GRTC Pulse station

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Two people were stabbed on Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) campus in Richmond after a reported fight at a Greater Richmond Transit Authority (GRTC) Pulse Bus Station Thursday afternoon.

VCU Police first sent out an alert at 3:29 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22, saying that an armed subject was last seen in the 1100 block of West Broad Street. People were asked to avoid the area.

According to an updated alert issued at 4:07 p.m., the initial call was received by both VCU Police and the Richmond Police Department at 3:19 p.m., with officers responding to multiple reports of a fight in progress at the GRTC Pulse Bus Station in the 1000 block of West Broad Street…
