Shane L. Sargent, 55, of St. Charles died following a motorcycle crash Sunday evening, Oct. 20, at Jim Weber and Twin Rivers roads south of Eureka in Jefferson County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 6:05 p.m., Sargent was riding on a 2006 Yamaha VMX12 at a high rate of speed when the undercarriage struck the roadway, causing Sargent to lose control of the motorcycle, which ran off the road and struck a stone wall, ejecting him, the report said.
Sargent was transported by Eureka Fire Protection District to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, where he was pronounced dead at 6:54 p.m., the report said…
