BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. – On Wednesday, 34-year-old Zachary Fitch pleaded no contest to setting a fire that destroyed two pallet residents at the Chico Genesis Pallet Shelter in August, Butte County District Attorney Mike Ramsey said.
Ramsey said that Fitch, who was charged with a felony county of intentional arson of an inhabited residence, was in court for a preliminary hearing.
