In an effort to convince more Californians that their existence is killing planet Earth, California Governor Gavin Newsom flew all the way to New York to participate in Climate Week. He is supporting a new state initiative aimed at mobilizing one million Californians to take climate action at home and in their neighborhoods to help mitigate the harm they are causing by eating, drinking, traveling anywhere, and buying everyday items like food, clothing or anything that comes in a bag or a box or some type of exterior wrapping.
The initiative is called Climate Action Counts.
