City annual budget to be presented at next council meeting

WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE, Ohio — The Washington C.H. City Council met Monday after the meeting was moved from Wednesday due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

All council members were present, and the minutes of the prior meeting and the budget work session meeting were both approved. There were no communications, no city attorney report, and the director of finance reported that finances of the city are good and have good progress with investments.

In the city manager report, Joe Denen said that he would be discussing the annual budget report at the next meeting, water supplies are stable at this time, and he suggested that the second December meeting be moved to Monday, Dec. 23 due to the Christmas holiday.
