On a warm, but windy late-December Saturday afternoon, the Washington Lady Lions (3-5, 2-3 FAC) hosted the Vinton County Lady Vikings (6-3, 2-2 TVC) in a non-conference basketball contest.
The last time these two teams met, it was in the Sectional Semifinals of the DII Southeast District Tournament a season ago. Vinton County would win that game by a score of 59-54 to end the Lady Lions’ season.
