Ashville, OH – A firefighter from the Harrison Township Fire Department was injured yesterday morning while responding to a structure fire in Ashville.
Fire crews were dispatched to the area of Walnut and Cherry Streets at approximately 8:30 a.m. Upon arrival, light smoke was visible from the building. Firefighters quickly located and extinguished the blaze, which had originated in a vacant, unoccupied home.
During the response, one firefighter sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The injured firefighter was transported to a local hospital for treatment and has since been released and is recovering at home…
