When Kyle Stinson exited Scioto Paint Valley Mental Health Center for the final time on New Year’s Eve, it was just shy of 43 years spent with the organization.
“It depends on who is doing the math,” Stinson joked, noting that he only became a full-time employee on January 20, 1982. “I was fresh out of Ohio State in 1981 when I interviewed with the agency. We had a children’s residential facility in Greenfield at the time. I started there as a sub until I went full-time.”
Give or take those few extra months, it remains a truly impressive career in mental health that includes parts of five decades…
