Butler County intersection to get roundabout to reduce dangerous crashes

BUTLER COUNTY, Ohio (WXIX) – A rural Butler County intersection has become so dangerous that officials with the Ohio Department of Transportation say a roundabout will be installed there as a long-term solution to reduce the risk of severe accidents.

Officials say the intersection of Oxford Reilly Road and Stillwell Beckett Road in Oxford has been a problem for years.

After a fatal crash at the intersection earlier this year, ODOT had it converted from a two-way stop to a four-way stop until construction on the roundabout is complete…
