Scott High School principal resigns following underage drinking video

Anthony “Tony” Proccacino, the principal of Scott High School, tendered his resignation on Nov. 22, the school district confirmed with LINK nky on Monday.

Proccacino was brought on as Scott High School’s principal in July. He formerly served as the principal of White’s Tower Elementary School in Independence for 10 years.

Proccacino was placed on leave in October after police obtained videos of him serving alcohol to two underage teenagers at his house in Independence on New Year’s Eve, 2023, while still working as the principal at White’s Tower. Kenton County Police later charged Proccacino with two counts of aiding or assisting any person under 21 from being served alcoholic beverages, a misdemeanor.
