DELHI TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WXIX) – A teen was kidnapped at gunpoint by a stranger in Delhi Township but managed to escape and now the suspect is under arrest, police confirm.
Christian Austin, 37, of Golf Manor, is accused of pointing a gun at a 16-year-old to force the teen into his truck in the 1100 block of Betty Lane and then driving to a nearby United Dairy Farmers store at Glenway and Glenmore avenues in Cincinnati, according to police and his arrest report.
“This was not a situation where there is a random individual out looking for small children and kidnapping them,” explained Delhi Township police Lt. Joe Macaluso. “This was an isolated incident. This individual had a connection to the street he was on.”…
