COVINGTON, Ky. (WKRC) – The teen who pleaded guilty to the August 2023 fatal shooting of a 23-year-old man in Independence had his sentence of 30 years in prison approved by a judge Monday.
The sentence was the result of a plea deal by 18-year-old Jackie Turner, who was 17 years old at the time.
