SALT LAKE CITY – TCU’s defense led the way to a 13-7 win at Utah on Saturday night at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

The Horned Frogs allowed just 267 yards, a season-low against an FBS opponent. TCU recorded four sacks, including two by Devean Deal. The Utes were held to 2-of-15 on third-down conversions and 0-for-2 on fourth downs.

Leading 13-7, TCU held off the Utes on their final four possessions. The last two Utah series saw an interception by Bud Clark on a fourth-down pass with 6:58 to play and the Horned Frogs stopping the Utes on downs on their final possession with 2:35 remaining.
