Three suspects arrested in north Texas for organized retail theft

MANSFIELD, Texas — Mansfield police have arrested three suspects linked to organized criminal activity following a shoplifting incident.

On September 26, 2024, at approximately 11:27 a.m., Mansfield Police Department officers responded to a call from Market Street at 3145 E Broad St regarding a shoplifting in progress. The caller reported a woman placing items inside her skirt. While officers were en route, the caller informed dispatchers that the woman had left the store in a black Honda Odyssey with two males.

Dispatchers provided officers with updates on the vehicle’s description, enabling them to initiate a traffic stop at the Chevron located at the intersection of US 287 and E Broad St. Upon meeting the vehicle’s occupants, officers identified them as the suspects involved in the Market Street theft. Officers discovered several trash bags in the vehicle containing hundreds of items identical to those stolen from Market Street…
