Chase Hunter helps Clemson rout Florida State

Chase Hunter scored 25 points Saturday afternoon to help host Clemson defeat visiting Florida State 77-57 in Atlantic Coast Conference play. Hunter shot 8 of 14 from the floor and also contributed three rebounds and two assists as the Tigers (13-4, 5-1 ACC) got back in the win column. Clemson also got 15 points from Jaeden Zackery and 12 from Chauncey Wiggins. Malique Ewen paced Florida State (11-5, 2-3) with 15 points and nine rebounds. Jerry Deng and Jamir Watkins each added 11 points apiece. The Tigers lost 74-64 to host Louisville on Tuesday. The Seminoles led by three points midway through the first half, but then the Tigers broke off a 17-6 run to take a multi-possession lead. Zackery had eight points and an assist during that stretch.
