An Orlando man was arrested after trespassing at a 7-Eleven and stealing a can of Mike’s Hard Lemonade on his way out.

An employee at 7-Eleven, located at 737 S. 14th St., called law enforcement around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. The complainant stated 50-year-old Jesus Antonio Marquez came into the convenience store, took a black and yellow can of Mike’s Hard Lemonade from the cooler and left without paying for it.

The complainant also advised that Marquez had been trespassed from the store on Dec. 31, 2024. He left the store headed southbound on 14th Street with the drink valued at $2.79. It was later confirmed that Marquez had been trespassed on the given date, the report said.

Upon arrival at the scene, an officer made contact with Marquez who was immediately identified due to having been dealt with earlier in the day on a previous call for service. He was found at South 14th and Bryant Street across from the 7-Eleven, sitting on the sidewalk with Mike’s Hard Lemonade in his possession. The can was open, appeared to be full minus a few sips and cold to the touch, the report said…
