CLEVELAND, Ohio – A Cleveland man was sentenced Monday to life in prison without parole in the slayings of four people on the city’s East Side in 2019.

A Cuyahoga County jury convicted Terrell Silver, 35, earlier this month of aggravated murder in the deaths of Aiyanna Quitman, 19; Dejuan Damar Willis, 20; Christopher Monroe, 23; and Jazmyne Lawson, 18 in September 2019. At the time of the sentencing, Lawson was nearly six months pregnant.

Common Pleas Judge Ashley Kilbane sentenced Silver to five life terms. She said Silver executed the two men and then shot the two women to prevent them from testifying against him. She said Silver also shot at a witness who spoke with authorities…
