A Fulton man was lifeflighted Friday night from a crash west of Mendota’s 4th Avenue viaduct. About 8:20pm, Dispatch summoned police and first responders to 12th street and Augustine Avenue. Mendota police say a pickup truck had crashed through a guard rail.
It came to rest on its driver’s side in a creek between the railroad tracks and the roadway. Emergency crews removed the driver and sole occupant, Jonas Hobbs. Hobbs was treated locally then flown to another hospital. No word on tickets…
