An Uber driver in Cottage City, Maryland, who was shot multiple times on New Year’s Day, has sadly passed away from his injuries, according to authorities.
The victim of the incident has been identified by Prince George’s County Police as Oluwatosin Adetula, a 36-year-old resident of Hyattsville.
Adetula, a rideshare driver, sustained multiple gunshot wounds in the 3300 block of Bladensburg Road at 10:40 p.m. on January 1. Officers found him in a parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds.
