WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) arrested a man on Thursday for a quadruple shooting that left two dead and two hurt – including a child – over the summer.
On July 18, MPD responded to the 2200 block of Alabama Avenue SE after hearing gunshots. There, they found four people who had been shot: three men and a 2-year-old girl.
Two of the men died at the scene: 29-year-old Lamont Street of Capitol Heights, Md., and 50-year-old Jermaine Proctor of Southeast D.C.
