, N.M. — Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) proposed aprice hike that could raise the average electricity bill by nearly 20% if New Mexico’s Public Regulation Commission approves the proposal.
If PNM gets approval, the new rates would start on July 1, 2025, and cost the average customer $11.12. Then, in 2026, the price could go up an additional $12.48.
