Police investigating Lancaster shooting that injured 2

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) — Two people in Lancaster were shot Friday evening, and police say they are investigating.

Lancaster City Police officers rushed to the 300 block of Mill Street after getting a report of a shooting after 6 p.m., according to a news release.

Two victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds were taken to the hospital after officers arrived at the scene, police say.

An investigation into the shooting is ongoing, and it was not released if police have a suspect. Police say they do not believe this was a random act and that the public is not in danger.
