MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The teen charged with shooting a colleague outside the FedEx Hub last year faced a preliminary hearing Friday.
The hearing for Tyreese Earnest would determine if there is enough evidence to move forward. Prosecutors, as well as the defense, had the chance to question several people, including the shooting victim, in order for the court to decide what’s next.
The 18-year-old tried to dodge our cameras, while also hoping to dodge the three felony and one misdemeanor charges he’s facing. The most serious is attempted second-degree murder.
