Colorado signee Quentin Gibson named MVP, enters Texas HS championship record book

Entering the season, North Crowley wide receiver Quentin Gibson had offers from Army, Illinois State and Prairie View A&M, per the Dallas News.

Thirty-six touchdowns, 16 wins and one Class 6A Division I state championship later, he is a Colorado signee who has etched his name in the record book: an offensive MVP performance that helped the Panthers win their first title since 2003, taking down Austin Westlake 50-21 on Saturday.

Gibson, according to Dallas News, finished the game with 181 yards and three touchdowns, tying the 6A record for most touchdown receptions in a title game.
