DC police: Teens used guns in robbery, escaped in stolen car

WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — Police in D.C. arrested four teens for an armed robbery that took place on Thursday.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said the teens approached the victim in the 1300 block of W St. NW around 12:45 p.m. They had handguns and took the victim’s items before leaving in an SUV that was waiting for them.

MPD said that its Real Time Crime Center soon found the car in the 1200 block of 4th St. NW. Surveillance cameras also captured images of the suspects leaving the car there.
