WASHINGTON — After shooting and killing his 3-month old baby’s mother and grandmother, a Maryland man was sentenced to nearly 70 years in prison Friday. The baby’s aunt was hurt in the shooting but survived a shot to the face.
In July, Keanan Turner, 35, of Forestville was found guilty in July of First-Degree Murder for killing Ebony Wright and her mother Wanda Wright, shooting both of them in the head inside their Southeast D.C. apartment. Turner was also convicted of Assault with Intent to Kill for shooting Ebony Wright’s sister, Wanda Wright’s daughter, in the face.
“(Turner) asked (Ebony Wright) to terminate the pregnancy and when she declined he stopped speaking to her,” D.C. Superior Court documents from July read. “After giving birth, Ebony Wright filed a custody and child support lawsuit against the defendant.”…
