Moniteau County Emergency Dispatch says crews were called to a house fire in the 500 block of East Mulberry Street in California just before 10:00 last night.  Crews arrived to find heavy flames showing from the room of a single-story house.  It was reported that all residents had escaped, thanks to a nine-year-old boy who woke his family and alerted them to the fire.  A dog was still inside the home but was later found and given oxygen on the scene.  The dog is expected to make a full recovery.
