James Monroe Adams, age 79, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.
James was born on July 17, 1945, in Giles County, Tennessee, to the late Monroe Adams and the late Ella Sweeny Adams.
A devout follower of his Lord, James was known for his deep faith and dedication to preaching the word of God, often sharing scriptures even during his favorite pastime, fishing. He could quote the Bible without opening it, and with a cup of coffee, a fishing pole, and his Bible by his side, he was ready for the day.
