TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Scattered showers today across the Big Bend and South Georgia. Afternoon temperatures will reach the mid to upper 60s. Periods of rain will continue into this evening and the overnight hours. A few thunderstorms are possible as well. Temperatures tonight only drop into the mid 50s. A few showers will be left over for early Sunday morning before the cold and dry air rushes in behind a cold front. This will make it windy on Sunday with afternoon temperatures starting near 60 degrees and dropping throughout the day.
Temperatures overnight Sunday into Monday morning will drop into the mid to upper 20s. Add in the wind chill and those temperatures will feel like the upper teens to low 20s. Monday will feature mostly sunny skies but afternoon temperatures will only reach the low 40s. Temperatures dip into the upper 20s to low 30s overnight Monday into Tuesday morning.
Tuesday will bring mostly cloudy skies with the chance for some mixed precipitation arriving later in the day. By mixed precip, we mean rain/freezing rain/sleet/snow.
