Commodores fall to Falcons on the road

Lafayette moved to 0-4 after the game. The Commodores got on the scoreboard first on a five-yard touchdown run by Darius Brown to go up 7-0 over Columbus in the first quarter. At the end of the first quarter Lafayette led Columbus 7-0. Columbus was driving deep into the Commodores territory to the six-yard line as the quarter ended. Columbus tied the game at 7-7 the third play of the quarter. Late in the second quarter, Lafayette had a 60-yard touchdown run by Brown taken off the board by an offensive penalty.
