As of Wednesday, Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers remains listed as questionable for Saturday’s game against Mississippi State in the Longhorns’ SEC opener.
That’s according to the first SEC availability report involving No. 1 Texas issued by the league office.
There were no great surprises on the first glimpse into the overall health of the Longhorns (4-0, 0-0 SEC). Coach Steve Sarkisian said Monday that Ewers would likely remain listed as questionable on the mid-week report with his strained abdominal injury.
