Columbus is in for its coldest week of winter yet next week, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.
An “extended stretch” of bitterly cold temperatures is expected Monday through Wednesday next week, with highs on Monday and Tuesday in the single digits, according to a hazardous weather outlook issued by NWS Wilmington Friday morning.
