EAST LANSING, Mich. – On Saturday, No. 3 Ohio State will travel for the first time in the 2024 season. The Buckeyes will also begin Big Ten play for the 112th year, facing Michigan State. This game will also be in primetime, as the Scarlet and Gray will have to battle a hostile crowd at Spartan Stadium, which had all day to prepare for this contest.
Ohio State faces a Spartan team that has gotten off to a good start to the year. First-year head coach Jonathan Smith has the Green and White 3-1 and 1-0 in Big Ten play after a win on the road at Maryland. This game will be the biggest challenge of the young season for the Buckeyes.
The Scarlet and Gray look to add to their record 550 Big Ten wins and 74.9 conference winning percentage on Saturday night.
