Steve Sarkisian has not committed to changing anything up at the placekicker position, despite the struggles Bert Auburn has shown.
At the same time, that does not mean the Texas Longhorns head coach is going to stick with Auburn entirely. Sarkisian spoke to that subject just one day before the Cotton Bowl, keeping everyone guessing as to what could happen on the field Friday when Texas will go up against the Ohio State Buckeyes.
“Football is an ultimate team sport, but there’s specific positions that are kind of individualized,” he said. “There’s a psychological approach that we have tried to use and there’s obviously the physical approach. We’ll monitor that through pregame and make a decision and go.”…
