A substantial pothole wreaked havoc on southbound Interstate 880 in Oakland this morning, causing significant vehicle damage and traffic disruptions. At least a dozen vehicles suffered flat tires after encountering the large pothole near the Oak Street onramp, as reported by KRON4. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) logged the road damage as approximately 8 to 12 feet wide, stretching across an entire traffic lane.
