A San Francisco man was arrested in Colma after allegedly stealing over a thousand dollars worth of goods and attempting an escape, according to the Colma Police Department.
The chase began on Tuesday evening when officers were called to a business on the unit block of Colma Boulevard around 8:49 PM. They received a tip about a theft in progress and were told the suspect had fled in a gold Jeep, driving westbound toward Junipero Serra Boulevard.
Local law enforcement, already in the area, quickly spotted and stopped the vehicle on the northbound I-280 on-ramp at Serramonte Boulevard, detaining two men inside.
