CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Members of the Charlotte Fire Department took their holiday spirit to new heights Thursday – literally — by rappelling down the 12-story façade of Levine Children’s Hospital.
Dressed as Santa, elves, and even the Grinch, the firefighters brought smiles and joy to young patients and their families, many of whom are spending the season in the hospital.
Now in its third year, this annual event has become a cherished CFD tradition, highlighting the firefighters’ commitment to serving their community in ways that go beyond emergency calls.
